What was the name of your Dress ?:

The beautiful Zavana Daniella gown with gorgeous lace, plunging neckline and low detailed back.

What made you say yes to your dress?

I knew as soon as I slipped into my dress it was the one! I didn’t know what my dream dress would look like. But I knew as soon as I looked in the mirror it was the one! I loved the gorgeous lace, the detailed low back and plunging neckline, it fit my body shape perfectly. When I walked out to show my mum she gave me the look! She said “That’s it!”

Describe your wedding day look

I wanted my wedding look to be classic and elegant and that carried through to our reception. A whimsical fairytale. A sea of warm fairy lights, the scent of fresh roses in a candlelit room with our loved ones.

I didn’t know what my dream dress would look like. But I knew as soon as I looked in the mirror it was the one!

What was the most important aspect of your wedding day?

Having all of our family and friends share in our special day and having that captured by our amazing photographers and videographers.

The funniest moment on the day was…:

Me trying to put James’s wedding band on the wrong hand. I was so nervous I didn’t hear him say wrong hand and continued to slide it onto the wrong finger.

What was the most stressful part to planning?

The guest list. We were mindful that we both wanted an intimate day with our closest family and friends. Keeping that balance was hard at times.

Any wedding preparation advice that you can share?:

Don’t feel rushed into making decisions. It’s ok to change your mind and to be honest if something isn’t quite right or your vision isn’t coming to life like you imagined. You’ll find vendors are really accommodating and want you to have your dream day.

Any advice on choosing the right dress for your wedding day?

It doesn’t matter how many dresses you try on until you find the one! Make sure you feel beautiful, comfortable and yourself. You’ll know when you’ve found “the dress”.
