What dress did you wear?

I wore a gorgeous Luna gown by White April. It was unique with a beautiful lace detailing, stunning low back and neckline finished with shuttle beading. I loved it and I had a lot of comments on it.

What made you say yes to your dress?

It was a dress that I didn’t think I would see myself in but I loved how it fitted me perfectly. I also loved the detail on the dress. 

Describe your wedding day look:

I wanted my wedding look to be simple but elegant.

What was the most important aspect of your wedding day?

Well I am always late to a lot of things so I wanted to make sure I was not late. But the most important aspect was marrying my best friend.

The funniest moment on the day was…:

Tom surprised me with a “Magic Mike” strip show, it was the best surprise.

What was the most stressful part to planning?

We got married overseas in Boracay Island in the Philippines. Planning a wedding overseas was quite challenging as we relied heavily on social media and the internet. We couldn’t check the venue or do the food tasting; we could only do these once we were on the island. We had to trust that our instructions were clear as there was a language barrier. 

Any wedding preparation advice that you can share?:

Enjoy every minute of it because the day goes very quickly!

Any advice on choosing the right dress for your wedding day?

Choose something that you feel comfortable in and what you have in mind won’t always be the right style for you.
