What made you say yes to your dress?

I knew from the minute I started looking at wedding dresses that I wanted a White April dress. Originally didn’t want a fitted dress and had my heart set on another White April dress. I tried on a fitted dress to please my mum and I instantly fell in love, I felt amazing.

What was the most important aspect of your wedding day?

Walking down the aisle to my husband, regardless of what went wrong.

The funniest moment on the day was…:

When my husband sprayed wine all over Sarah’s (our photographers) camera.

What was the most stressful part to planning?

SHOES! Who knew finding out what heel size you were was so hard. I think in the end I had brought 4 pairs of heels. In all honesty though my two girls helped me plan the entire thing and where a tremendous help at keeping the stress at bay.

Any wedding preparation advice that you can share?:

Enjoy it and be prepared, things go wrong and you just have to go with the changes. Stay calm and grounded.

Any advice on choosing the right dress for your wedding day?

Listen to your mum, take her advice on board. You never know the dress she might imagine you in may just be the one.
